About Bernard
Personal Description:
I am a Business Studies teacher in South London teaching A-level and GCSE Business Studies. My students would best describe me as a fun, interesting, thoughtful and caring teacher who has a great knowledge and understanding of Business Studies.
I am also a passionate entrepreneur who can lead individuals by example and foster positive, diverse and nurturing environments for others to thrive in. My past work experiences have equipped me skills that are highly transferable that are particularly effective in people facing roles. Some of my successes are down to a vast array of experiences with companies in Consulting, Sales and Project Management. For example, I have had the opportunity to create new partnerships with potential customers through my roles with Bpl Digital, Aiesec and my own social enterprise I set up, 1 Day Start-Up.
Other interests include, Sports (particularly football, running and swimming), music ( huge fan of indie, rock, hip hop and jazz music) and travelling ( have traveled over 5 different continents)
Tutoring Experience:
I studied Business Management, completing a variety of modules from Finance to Marketing from one of the leading Business universities in Europe.
I have taught GCSE and A-Levels for over 2 years. The exam board I work with Edexcel for both GCSE and A-Levels.
Tutoring Approach:
I particularly excel at providing thoughtful advice and improvments on students' exam answers and provide new ways for students to understand concepts that can often be difficult to understand.
