About Beatriz
Hi there,
I'm a recent graduate from University of St Andrews with a First Class degree in Film Studies and English. I have previous experience tutoring students in GCSE and primary school Maths, as well as GCSE English, and Spanish. I taught one boy GCSE Maths who was aiming for a B grade, and he achieved this. I also taught a girl of primary school age in Maths and English to pass her SATs which she succeeded. These experiences have lead me to pursue a job now as a tutor, given that I have far more academic experience since graduating from University. I was an excellent student and achieved 12 GCSEs 7 A* 5 A, and 3 A-levels A*A*A. My A-levels were in English, Spanish, and Religious Studies. I also did AS-Level Government and Politics, AQA Baccalaureate, and General Studies. A, Distinction, A, respectively. I also took Spanish at university for 2 years before changing to Film Studies. I got an A* in GCSE maths and am very comfortable teaching all aspects of that exam. I prepare carefully for any lesson. I am friendly, patient, and calm, and take pride in supporting students through their exams

Bea was a tutor for my family before she went to University. I originally booked her to tutor my two young boys in Maths and English for school, but when I learned she also knew Spanish, I got her to give me a weekly lesson in that too! Really cheeky! But she was so willing to help out and would tutor me after she had finished with the boys. Warm, bubbly girl, buckets of personality, and a top rate educator
I asked Beatriz to tutor me in Spanish, as I was an absolute beginner and my partner (a Galician!) was getting impatient trying to teach me. She unfortunately moved away to London, but in the 3 months that I had lessons with her, she was incredibly lovely and I feel I improved greatly.
Beatriz tutored my son in Maths for his GCSE. She is friendly and patient- high recommendable!
