My name is Arnold, and I am a student currently studying a MSc in Environmental Economics at UCL.
I grew up in Switzerland, where I was raised fully bilingual in German and English since a young age. I have lived in London and studied at UCL since 2015, with a year of English-teaching in China in 2019.
I am certified in teaching English to adults (CELTA) and young learners (TKT: Young Learners), and have tutored multiple students of all age groups in English and German. While in China, I was also teaching 200+ students per week full-time!
I really enjoy teaching languages, and consider myself very reliable, patient and easy to get along with.
Due to the current environment, I hold a preference for online tutoring yet will also consider in-person tutoring. For this I have access to various resources, a graphics writing tablet and whiteboard.
Whether you or your children are looking to learn German or English, I can help at any level and for any learning purpose. I will also consider requests for tutoring other subjects like maths, geography or economics.

Perfect! Excellent Teacher
Arnold has been teaching my daughter for several months and has been a great teacher guiding her through the language. He is very interactive, encouraging and extremely patient.
