About Arif
Biochemistry student at Warwick. I took the International Baccalaureate with Chemistry, Biology and Math at Higher level. I've tutored many students during the preparation for their final exams to get into high ranked Russel Group universities. I'm very passionate about chemistry and biology together and I took biochemistry as its the perfect blend of both.

When it comes to structuring a lesson, I need to understand what the student wants and more importantly how the student learns. Everyone learns differently, and I will tailor the way I give information according to that. For example; visual learners learn with diagrams and pictures, auditory learners, however, learn with speech, and I will have to adjust according to that.
Second of all, ill set a learning objective which a small detailed description of what students will be able to do or what they will know after the session is complete. It is my role as a tutor to help students understand how to use the information they will learn during the lesson in a practical way.
Finally, Learning has to be dynamic. I encourage students to question and share ideas during the session. Ill prepare small exam question quizzes and also ask the student quick questions throughout the session to keep their attention levels up. I also feel that students need to be exposed to more exam style questions because it all boils down to the final exam, and if the student hasn’t encountered the question styles and is confused in the moment, then all the previous learning goes to waste.
