About Annabel
**Currently not taking on new students but more than happy to chat and recommend tutors in your local area!**
As a qualified Mathematics teacher, I understand the importance of differentiating your approach to the individual needs of a student. The different ways in which students learn is often lost in the classroom environment and this is where a great tutor can step in to help!
Throughout my time as a secondary school maths teacher I led a number of intervention classes providing one to one tuition to students struggling to boost their grade, whether on the C/D borderline, pushing to achieve A*s or primary school children aiming for level 6s! I enjoyed planning and delivering these sessions and this inspired me to leave the profession and pursue a career built around individual students and their needs. Alongside tutoring, I also mentor for the Girls Network.
Whilst at sixth form I studied Geography, Economics and Maths and then went on to read Geography at King's College London. Therefore I am qualified to teach Maths and Geography but can also help with University admissions and study skills.
