About Anna
I am a qualified solicitor and have been working for a top 20 UK law firm in London since qualifying. Last year I decided to leave Law in search of a more fulfilling career and am now training to become a midwife. I previously worked as a tutor alongside my studies, and am now tutoring again - building on the experience I have gained in previous years working with pupils from summer schools, secondary schools and tutoring.
Eleven Pus - Having sat the Eleven Plus exams myself in Surrey, Essex and an Independent Entrance Exam for Ipswich High School for girls, and having passed all 3, I understand the pressure and importance of these exams. I myself had intensive tutoring and have developed the skills to tailor my lessons to each child's individual needs.
Maths and English - Having taught at a secondary school and at summer schools, I have an excellent understanding of teaching methods and exercises within these subjects. I tailor my lessons to suit my pupils' individual needs and follow their exam board syllabuses.
I am also DBS approved and can bring a copy of my certificate to our first lesson upon request.

Before my daughter started having lessons with Anna she was extremely under-confident with her maths. She is a hard worker and had good grades in her other subjects but had a 'fear' of maths. Soon after starting with Anna we noticed a real change in her attitude towards the subject as Anna helped her confidence to grow. She took her time to go through each subject with her.
I hired Anna through a recommendation from a friend and she was brilliant with my son. He was very nervous about maths, which cause me a lot of worry, but Anna was very patient and calm and helped him to build his confidence up. He is thriving now and we still use Anna occasionally to keep his enthusiasm and confidence up. Would thoroughly recommend her!
