Enthusiastic, friendly graduate with childcare experience
I am a graduate of a Russell Group University and am enthusiastic about imparting my knowledge. I gained an upper second in my BA and as this was in English Literature I have a great deal of experience writing essays on a wide variety of topics across many other subjects including history, international development, feminism and philosophy. I gained full marks in my final A Level English Exam and a high A* in my coursework. Some of my essays were later used at a teachers conference as exemplary of how pupils should be writing their final essays. I also gained high marks in my history exam and love talking about and teaching history.
I have taken my Grade 8 Ballet with distinction, gaining over 80% so am happy to teach private Ballet lessons.I was a member of The Royal Ballet's Mid Associates Programme and part of the National Youth Ballet. I have danced at The London Palladium, Birmingham Hippodrome, Bristol Hippodrome and Sadlers Wells Theatre.I am patient and make all learning enjoyable yet thorough.
I am currently employed as an au pair and have worked as a nanny before so I have a great deal of experience with children. I have also helped them with their homework in a variety of subjects.Whilst working as a nanny before I have been responsible for children from as young as 18 months through to 17 years.
I have completed a British Red Cross course for children's first aid course with certification. My knowledge is well rounded as is my experience and I am confident in tutoring children and young people effectively with brilliant results.
