About Anna
Seven years of experience in London Primary schools - three as a teaching assistant and four years as a teacher - spanning from Year 2 to Year 6 children, has consistently fuelled my love for teaching and desire to help children make outstanding progress. I am currently teaching in Year 6, which means I have a strong understanding of the SATs tests and end of Primary School expectations that children are aiming to achieve. That being said, I am also proficient at teaching phonics and have a comprehensive understanding of the curriculum and its progression throughout primary school.
I am highly motivated and take a fun approach to my work, often tailoring sessions to suit the personal interests of the child (whether that is football, grime artists or Thomas the Tank engine) whilst still maintaining clear coverage of what areas need to be addressed. My creativity and willingness to continuously improve mean that I deliver engaging sessions that aim to assist your child and foster a positive approach to their learning.
