About Andrew
I am a qualified and experienced lecturer in Chemistry with over 20 years experience of teaching including one-to-one tutoring. Additionally, I have recently completed a PGDE in secondary science giving me experience of teaching A-level, AS-level and GCSE chemistry and physics.
I am qualified to doctorate level in chemistry from the University of Oxford and have an extensive subject knowledge and great enthusiasm for the subject.
I have extensive experience of tutoring A-level chemistry built up over 8 years. The results have been positive with students achieving the grades that they need to get on to their chosen university course including medicine, dentistry etc. I also organise, through my job, a popular A-level chemistry revision course each year.

I only offer in person A-level chemistry tuition on the Wirral and do not tutor online. In the lessons, I ask lots of questions to establish what is and is not understood and then focus on filling in the gaps. We also work on exam technique and strategies to apply to the problems.
