Fluency in Partnership

Note: I am open to negotiating lesson times - please contact me if you wish to do so. Those times advertised are not the extent of my availability, and it is likely I can work a time that is convenient for you.
While English is one of the most commonly used languages in the world - arguably close to being an international language - it is also one of the most difficult languages to master. There are many rules, sounds, and combinations which can be tricky to retain at first.

On top of that, many teaching styles often neglect the needs of the student, which can impact on their mental state and often reduce the quality of their learning.

As a psychology graduate, I understand that each individual student has their own limits and their own way of learning: therefore, I am very flexible in adapting my teaching style to suit the situation at hand.

I am a fluent English speaker, with a high level of literacy and a very firm grasp of how the English language works; as long as the student is willing and motivated to learn, I am confident that we can work together to facilitate a positive learning experience.

On a recent voluntary trip to Japan, I tutored a wide range of students in their English language studies (ages 6-13). Additionally, I have many friends whose first language is not English, whom I help every so often in both personal study, as well as University-level English language study.
