About Andrew
I’m a professional electric bassist based in London, Brixton - playing 4 and 5 string. I've got a groove based style covering everything from World/Funk/Jazz/Blues/Rock/Soul/Reggae. I’ve just completed my Masters degree in Music Performance, alongside performing professionally in the UK and internationally. My work as an educator has involved teaching bass guitar privately to students of all levels and I’m more than happy to travel to prospective students or lessons can be given from my home/studio space. Depending on your ability we'll be covering topics such as correct posture, plucking had position/fretting hand positioning. Scales & modes. Playing by ear, reading music & charts and creating bass lines in styles of your choice.
