Art Historian and Critic with Previous Tutoring Experience
I have just finished my MA in art history at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London. Previous to that I studied at New York University, where I spent three semesters (1.5 years) living in Florence. For my undergraduate studies at NYU, I wrote a thesis on contemporary Florentine art. I spent three semesters in Florence where I worked as a research intern at the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi and the Centro di Cultura Contemporanea Strozzina. At the Strozzi and Strozzina, I produced and conducted tours of modern and contemporary art exhibitions, and researched to assist the educational department in organizing two major shows. I returned to Florence in 2016 to moderate a conference centered around my research, with panelists from the cultural sector including artists, curators, and critics. I have also spent time living in Rome, Napoli, and a little time in Milan.
I have written extensively on contemporary and modern art. Additionally I have worked as a curator and researcher in galleries in London and in NY. Previous to all of this I worked as a private tutor in New York teaching American and Italian clients. I am fluent in Italian, English, and Russian.
