About Allison
I am passionate about language learning and have been teaching for over 30 years now.
I always keep up to date in curriculum changes and ensure my resources reflect this.
I also maintain my own language skills by following news and current affairs relating to French and German speaking countries.
I have tutored local students in person as well as a whole range of students nationally and internationally.
I have also conducted MFL oral exams for a private exams centre in London.
I can provide independent, verifiable reviews from current and past clients.
I have an MFL degree and a PGCE. I also have a valid advanced DBS certificate.

My lessons are carefully prepared to suit the needs of each individual. I aways include practice in all four skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing.
I have the most up to date and relevant resources available for the effective delivery of MFL as well as access to past papers for the main exam boards.
Each lesson is 45-60 minutes, depending on the student's age and requirements.
I took early retirement from whole class tutoring two years ago and have been working as a private tutor since then, both online and face to face.
I have been delivering lessons for the following: French and German - KS3-5 and adult learners, ESL - intermediate advanced.
