About Alfredo
Few months I was awarded a Ph.D. from Imperial College London where I studied the role of galactic collision in the evolution of galaxies. My academic and scholastic career has covered a broad range of fields within the scientific spectrum.
I’ve studied Maths, Physics and Chemistry at University and passed the International Baccalaureate (the European equivalent for A-Levels) for each of them with full marks.
I’m a native Italian speaker and I studied italian literature for 5 years.
Over the last 5 years, teaching has been a key component of my working week. This year I became involved with the this site volunteers program from which I learnt many important skills. When I tutor I tend to balance explanations with problem solving exercises. The teaching side focus on ways to make even the most difficult scientific idea simple to understand through examples and real life applications, but truly understand a concept you need to apply it and to learn how to use it properly, and that’s where the problem solving comes in.

Perfect! Lovely chap - calm, thorough tutor
