I started taking interest in music from a very young age especially because I come from a musical family. This exposure to music led me to develop a great appreciation for different genres and cultures. With time my enthusiasm for music increased and I started taking keyboard classes as well as learn how to control my voice to develop a healthy vocal technique. I enjoy reading and composing scores and to comprehend the movement of harmony and distinguish each musical instrument to appreciate its sound color.
At Conservatory of Arts “George Enescu” lasi I studied jazz and pop music composition where I've been professed as a substitute teacher for 2 years. I've been the lead vocal singer for the university band and got to participate in concerts all around the country. This enhanced my vocal technique and on-stage performance and made me much more comfortable engaging with the crowd and at the same time to understand what a real artist should do.
I moved to London last year to pursue a Master's degree in Popular Music Performance at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP). I also realized that being under the guidance of well-experienced teachers could have a positive impact on my musical abilities and that is why I am grateful to share everything I know with the students around me.
I want to help each student to achieve the best possible vocal technique, increase their repertory and be able to sing each genre in the most appropriate way.
After successful completion of my master’s programme, I would like to work as a teacher in a conservatory of music and share all the knowledge I have gained with aspiring musicians. Furthermore, I would also be looking into doing some research about music; after all, learning is a continuous process. My ultimate goal is to have a Ph.D. in music and still keep learning about music as this part and parcel of my life and an art without limits.
