About Alexandra
I have been teaching Geography for 3 years at KS3, GCSE and A-Level. This has been focused on the EdExcel exam board for both GCSE and A-Level, and has followed the National Curriculum at KS3. I have also taught, monitored and marked the NEA coursework at A-Level.
My GCSE exam success rate was positive last year with a positive class residual showing that students met or exceeded their minimum target grades. Class results were:
32% achieved 7-9
85% achieved 5-9
100% achieved 4-9
I graduated from Liverpool Hope University in 2014 with a 1st Class Honors Bsc in Geography. This course involved equal credits of Human, Physical and Environmental Geography so I am confident in tutoring any aspect of the subject up to A-Level.
Following this I spent 2 years travelling in Asia, Australia and Central America before completing my PGCE at Durham University.
