About Alex
I am highly qualified to tutor Science and Maths, having gained a Masters degree from Oxford in Emvironmental Sciences (with Distinction), and a Bachelors degree from Cambridge in Biology (with a First). I have A*'s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths (as well as Geography) at A-Level, having completed schooling in 2012. I am happy to tutor in any of these subjects up to the level at which I am qualified, and would also welcome students looking for help in university applications (I sat Cambridge interviews in addition to the UCAS application, and wrote a personal statement for my Masters at Oxford). While I am yet to gain professional tutoring experience, having just finished my Higher Education and a Research Technician job at Southampton University, I have lots of informal experience with children, and even tutored one of my peers whilst on a fast-track German course at GCSE level. I look forward to discussing personalised requirements with interested families in the Southampton area.
