About Alex
I am a Master's graduate from the University of Bristol in Philosophy/Human Geography. I have taught to Master's level across a wide range of subjects from Events Management to Philosophy, often helping younger students to widen their knowledge base and write better, more succinct essays. I am especially good at teaching essay structure and writing technique as well as putting into practice study guides. I wrote my dissertation on community telecoms projects in Mexico which tackled the subject of conference bureaucracy stifling progress in infrastructure projects. I currently write freelance and am in the process of writing a book. My mannerisms are oft described to that of the Cheshire cat on account of my perpetual grin. I am chatty but do not get distracted when there is learning to be done.

Tutor specialising in English and the humanities. I regularly teach up to degree level and excel at explaining complex concepts in a simple manner. This ability to explain complexity also makes me well suited to any queries regarding essay technique.
Recommendations

My son was really weak at writing. After one month of work with Alex, I can really see the difference. The most important thing is that my son started like writing.
I would highly recommend Alex.Alex gave me great help with my Philosophy and Ethics A-level. He helped me to think broadly about philosophical questions and structure my essays in a clear and logical manner. He is very supportive and gave me useful advice on coping with exam pressure.
