About Alex
Hi, my name's Alex!
I'm currently a postgraduate student at the University of Edinburgh, studying for a Masters in History after completing my undergraduate at Southampton.
I have good previous teaching experience having also been a tutor during my undergraduate degree, and love helping pupils to reach their academic goals.
I always try to tailor every lesson to the specific needs of the student, and am happy to focus on coursework and techniques to improve essay style and structure alongside content from the syllabus, as developing this skill set is crucial for any humanities subject.
I aim for my lessons to be helpful and engaging, and to ensure confidence ahead of exams and deadlines by working alongside the exam board specifications for the relevant course.
