Italian psychologist & PhD researcher with experience
My name is Alessio, I'm an Italian psychologist and a PhD researcher at the University of Nottingham (School of Medicine). I have lot of experience (more than 9 years) in tutoring and working with private students, students with dyslexia, ADHD and other neurodevelopmental disorders. I have experience in teaching drama and singing too, since I have been a singer since 2008 (musical theatre, live experience) and offered some musical theatre courses to high-school students. I am Italian mother-tongue, so I will be available to tutor in Italian, Spanish (beginner), German (beginner), and Italian cooking too.
I am fluent in English as recently confirmed by the IELTS test that I passed with success (total score: 7.5, C1; no elements less than 6.5). The language and communication skills I possess will help me to teach effectively in the UK. Finally, I think I am quite organized, reliable and computer literate; I can work independently, in a flexible way and I will be enthusiastic to accept any teaching role that is assigned to me.
Alessio is an excellent tutor, he is extremely knowledgable about his subject and uses effective teaching methods in order to help you understand the topics and apply this knowledge in practice. He is approachable and friendly which really helps when you don't feel confident in your abilities. I would really recommend Alessio as a tutor.
Certainly feeling more confident with statistics having learned a lot with Alessio.
