About Alberto
I am a PhD students in mathematics at City, University of London. Before coming to London, I got a BSc in Physics from the university of Pisa, my hometown. Then I moved for my International Master in Physics of Complex Systems, which led me to Trieste and Turin in Italy and then to Paris, gaining a double Master of Science degree from Italy and France with maximum grades.
During my master, I had the opportunity to tutor at university level for the first year courses in Analysis and Algebra, gaining experience and finding out I actually love teaching! I am also a tutor for the mathematical analysis course for the Mathematics degree here at CIty, University of London.
Past students have always been satisfied, obtaining good grades in the exams they prepared with me.

** Due to the pandemic I am available for online lessons too. I have remote teaching equipment, including a wacom graphic tablet to freely handwrite mathematics in online lessons like on a whiteboard! **
My tutoring practice is very personalised, focusing more on the pupil than on the subject, as everyone has its on way to understand things. I believe my physics training is a plus, as led me to both heavily study the theoretical basis of maths and its numerous applications, which can be very helpful in the teaching activity.

Perfect! I really recommend Alberto he is a very good tutor! He tutored me and made me understand a lot better my quantitative course at the University. He was great in that he didn’t just give the answers away – he made you think. This helped me understand the material much better. He was always able to answer any questions that I had. If I didn’t understand something the first time, he would explain it to me again so I would understand it. We've covered many topics but on time and I would like to thank Alberto as I passed the module with a good grade thanks to his help. Setting up lessons was also always easy
