About Alasdair
Hi there,
I am a 25yo Civil/Transportation Engineer from New Zealand. I have recently moved indefinitely to London (with a UK Passport) and I'm looking for some part time work to supplement my income. I have approximately 4 years of private tutoring experience within New Zealand at ages ranging from early secondary schools (13yo) through to first year university students. I pride myself in my ability to create rapport with my students and breakdown the barriers of the technical world through simplistic (and age appropriate) language and communication skills. I have references available on request.
My specialties are within the subjects of Mathematics and Physics, however I am able to offer limited service in Chemistry and English at lower levels.
My qualifications include NCEA Levels 1, 2 and 3 (New Zealand National Secondary School Qualifications) and a Bachelor of Engineering with honors (Civil) from the University of Canterbury.
