About Aaliyah
Hi there,
I am currently at the University of Greenwich studying a History and Sociology degree in order to become a teacher in the near future. The reason i study these subjects is not only for my future career but also due to my passion for the two. Since i was a child i have had an intense passion for studying the past and it was only in college during my AS levels where i studied History, Sociology and Psychology that i developed an equally intense passion for the study of society to, hence my joint degree. I also have an access diploma in teacher training with sociology and history.
Outside of tutoring i am a very fun person who enjoys exploring and finding places with lovely views to relax. In regards to my teaching style i find that it varies for each pupil depending on what that student wants and is looking to achieve, i do not believe it is the style that matters but rather the results. During my time at school i believe that i could have achieved much more if i had a teacher who understood that all students can not be taught in the same manner as some things that will work for one will not work for another. My style is to listen to the pupil and find out how they best learn and teach them in that way and i hope you feel the same.
