A table showing the old GCSE, new GCSE and National Curriculum level expected by pupils in each year group.

This table helps make sense of all the various grading mechanisms that have been used in schools over the last few years. It shows the relationship between the new GCSE grades, the old GCSE grades as well as the national curriculum levels. The table indicates what pupils are expected to be achieving in each school year.
