Alleyn's School Scholarship Paper Answers
May 27, 2016
Alleyn's is a co-ed school in South East London, offering admission at 11+ 13+ and 16+. Admission is based on exam results, reports from the student's current school and an interview.
This scholarship paper is on the tough side, and should be used as a final prep for difficult 11+ entry.
There is a strong emphasis on logical mathematical reasoning and theory. Students should feel comfortable experimenting to solve unfamiliar maths puzzles. The timing of this paper is very challenging. Students should be careful not to lose too much time on questions they find difficult. The questions vary greatly and so students are likely to find something they are good at if they skip difficult questions.
Attached below are the marks scheme with answers as well as the original scholarship paper for Alleyn's School 11+.
