Superstitions in Russia

Will you get worried if a black cat crosses your path or if your hotel room number is thirteen? The answer is probably not. Well, many Russians do! Russian people do have a lot of “superstitions”. Many Russians will sit down inside their house before leaving for a trip to ensure a good journey. After someone has left the house on a long journey, their room and/or their things should not be cleaned up; we will consider it good luck to break a glass accidentally. Most people don’t actually believe these things “work”, but they always – always – do them anyway:)
