A Level Chemistry Flame Test

This short article describes how flame test is done and why we see the colours that differentiate some of group I and II Elements

A paste is made by mixing powdered compunds containing metals.

A platinum wire is dipped into the paste and burnt at the blue flame of bunden burner.
