ISEB 13+ Specifications

December 01, 2015

This link will take you to the Independent Schools Examination Board (ISEB) that produces and sets the Common Entrance Exams. This page shows the current specifications for what students are required to learn for the exam and is a great place to start when beginning preparation for the Common Entrance at 13+.

Please be sure to read them carefully and check:

- Which exams you are required to sit for entry into your chosen schools (this will be on the documentation the senior school sends to you).

- What level you are required to sit (most subjects have Level 1 and Level 2; maths also has Level 3). The higher levels are more difficult.

- What content, if any, will be optional. Eg, History allows students flexibility in their choice of essay title and time period.

Good luck!
