She found that adopting a confident pose changes your body chemistry, releasing hormones that lead to you acting more confidently, even if you don't feel you are.

Simply by taking a couple of minutes before an important interview to strike one of these power poses will mean that when you step into the room, you might be more likely to land the place.
Any student coming up to a big interview should think about doing this, and then impressing the interviewer to get the place!
