About AQA
AQA A level Physics is a rigorous and advanced course designed for students who have a strong interest in the subject and wish to study it at a higher level. The course is offered by the Assessment and Qualifications Alliance (AQA), a UK-based examination board. The course covers a wide range of topics, including mechanics, waves, electricity and magnetism, thermal physics, and atomic and nuclear physics.
Students will develop a deep understanding of fundamental physical principles, as well as the ability to apply these principles to solve problems. The curriculum is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in physics, preparing them for further study in physics or related fields, or for careers in science and technology.
AQA Physics Unit 4 (Old Specification)
Unit 4 was the first A2 unit that was built on fundamental ideas and knowledge covered in AS Physics. In the first section, students study the momentum and are introduced to circular and oscillatory motion. This section also covers gravitation. Moreover, they also learn about electric and magnetic fields along with the basic electromagnetic induction. This resource contains many past papers and mark schemes for Unit 4 of the AQA Physics A-Level.
In this resource, you will find AQA A level physics "Fields and further mechanics" past papers and mark schemes from the old specification. This specification was discontinued from 2016 onwards.
