Art Therapy Workshop for Breast Cancer Now

April 17, 2020

My workshop was based on on engaging with emotions and exploring how to express them through colour and pattern.

Art can be used as a therapeutic tool for meditation and it can provide an aesthetic space for oneself to reflect. The focus was on process, gesture and personal journey rather than on creating a finished product.

Participants were able to take home their unique creations to remember the experience, reflect further on emotions and expression and to know that they are capable of creating something of value.
