www.bbc.co.uk/skillswise can be a very useful and holistic tool for many EFL and ESOL students
I have taken units from this website and adapted them alongside EFL and ESOL materials. The website hosts both English and maths worksheets, factsheets,worksheets, videos ,quizzes and games ( beginners / entry 1 to GCSE level/ level 2 )
Materials can be printed out or used for independent self study
I love how the games and tasks are very interactive and are often tools in themselves
The English section is divided into areas such as Speaking,Listening,Reading and Writing ,with subsections on Grammar, word grammar, writing formally, giving presentations, skimming and scanning etc
Choose the area you or your student want to work on and take it from there !
