An Introduction to Tutoring with Tutorfair

Image We recently ran our first virtual event for newer tutors on the Tutorfair platform as an opportunity to demonstrate some of the handy features and tools we have available and introduce the team!

As a tutoring marketplace, we are aware that we could only succeed if we could find the highest quality tutors: educators who genuinely, and regularly, make a difference to the lives of their students.  However, no matter how good a tutor is, their professional success relies on them effectively being able to communicate just how good they are to prospective clients.

After spending countless hours working out what makes a tutor excellent, we realised there are five key components that any tutor should master to effectively market themselves. Therefore, the webinar covered five main areas:

  • Five ways to find clients

  • Control your tutoring business

  • What the client will see

  • Get paid automatically

  • What we ask of you

After a highly successful turn out and lots of positive feedback, we are looking to host another webinar soon. To sign up or register your interest please email

Please note, due to a high volume of tutors looking for work, we are currently reviewing all new tutor applications and we aim to contact tutors with the outcome of their application within 4 weeks. You can register your details here:
