
This course will be run by top tutor and qualified teacher Ben and take place over a 2 week period with 3 sessions per week and is targeted at students focusing on the higher Maths paper. The cost of the A-level course is £50 per class - just a fraction of Ben's usual price!
The course will consist of six one hour sessions during the Easter holiday that focus on tackling the following Maths GCSE topics:
- Monday 11th April 5pm - Number - fractional indices, surds, approximation and bounds
- Tuesday 12th April 5pm - Algebra - algebraic functions, quadratics and simultaneous equations
- Thursday 14th April 5pm - Ratio, proportion and rates of change
- Tuesday 19th April 5pm - Geometry and Measures - trigonometry, vectors and circle theorems
- Thursday 21st April 5pm - Probability - tree diagrams and Venn diagrams
- Friday 22nd April 5pm - Statistics - grouped data and histograms
About the Tutor - Ben is a fully qualified Maths teacher with more than a decade of maths teaching experience in leading independent schools, including nine years at Westminster School. His students have obtained places at some of the top universities in the world, including Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, UCL, and Imperial College, London.
Due to the nature of small group lessons and having a maximum of 8 students per group, it enables the teaching to be highly personalised and students can let the tutor know what they would like to cover.
