This online course is designed to help GCSE students studying Macbeth . The online course will be run by top tutor, Sam R, a highly experienced and friendly English graduate from the University of Cambridge. The lessons will run everyday Monday - Friday from 11 - 12pm. Each lesson will cost £20p/h (with 50% off tutor's normal rate) totalling at £100 for the full week course.
During each class, Sam will explore extracts/quotations from the play and introduce students to a broad range of relevant contextual sources and critical theories. They'll use the last ten minutes of each class to tackle an essay question, which Sam will also mark for students if they're able to complete the essays. Sam can give the missing students the slides from any sessions that they might miss and can spend a few minutes at the end of the subsequent session to make sure they catch up on anything they've missed in the previous class too. The sessions will be:
Gender & Children
Ambition & Tyranny
Religion & the Supernatural
Reality, Dreams & Illusion
Authorship & Performance
