Image With our summer holiday programmes now underway, it’s already time to look ahead to September. We’re expecting to have our biggest year yet, with more opportunities than ever for tutors to get involved in volunteering.

Now is a great time to join the community. Those who sign up over summer can look forward to beginning at the start of a new academic year with a real breadth of opportunities to choose from. We’re recruiting volunteer tutors for all subjects and age groups - so there really is something for everyone.

Below is a selection of programmes that will be underway from September/October 2022. If you’d like to know about any of them in more detail, do register your interest below or contact us on foundation@tutorfair.com to set up a chat.
GCSE Maths Resit Support

Firstly, we’ll be working with Leyton Sixth Form College to provide an intensive 6-week GCSE Maths booster for post-16 students resitting their GCSE Maths. On this programme, you'll be able to deliver a big impact in a short amount of time. Furthermore, we’ve been delivering this programme for 3 years, so there's loads of learning and support that comes with the experience!
KS3/4 Maths, English and Science Tutoring

Secondly, we’re continuing our support to schools and charities across the country, offering volunteer-led tutoring in core subjects to disadvantaged young people. These opportunities come in all shapes and sizes and we’re always on the lookout for new tutors to add to the provision.
KS5 STEM Tutoring in Westminster

Thirdly, our partnership with Westminster Foundation and the Royal Society of Chemistry continues for a third year as our tutors deliver vital support in STEM subjects to ambitious young people in Westminster. This is a great opportunity for Maths and Science tutors to help an aspiring student gain a place at their university of choice.
A-Level Tutoring for Oxbridge Applicants

Fourthly, we’re delivering A-Level tutoring to disadvantaged young people who have applied to Oxford or Cambridge. To do this, we've partnered up with SEO London. Uniquely, this programme offers support in all A-Level subjects. And you'll have to opportunity to continue your relationship with a student for up to 2 years. Great!
KS2 Reading Support

Finally, our partnership with TutorMate continues for a second year! We're building a team of volunteers supporting young people in Middlesbrough as they learn to read. With just a half-hour commitment weekly, this unique project is great for both first-time and experienced tutors. You’ll get all the support you need to speed up your student’s reading journey. And you can easily fit your weekly session around a busy schedule.
